Hey guys, i was thinking about this for a while and i wanted to ask all of you,
if you would be interested in a DMC/DMQ fragmovie?!
i saw a lot of other fragmovies from different games and i thought
it would be cool if we could do a fragmovie also.
I would be the person who would edit the movie...iīm good experienced in video editing and stuff.
the only problem is, if we could get enough footage for that.
so my question to you guys is, if you would be interested in doing a DMC/DMQ fragmovie!?!

To get some good content maybe we could set a time and a day on 2 or 3 weekends where we could have a lot of veteran players show up to a server and play some ffa, 1on1 and maybe some 2on2. I could connect HLTV to the server and record some high quality demos of the matches.
I'm sure we would get some good footage from that.

would be nice if we could get enough footage from some matches...i mean if you play, just record every single match (ffa,1on1,2on2,midair,arena etc)
you may have some old demos..like the ffa matches with tayste, which you can also use.
does HLTV work like the HLTV demos from cs, with freechase cam and anything else? on the duel server is htlv but the demos are still first person.
For those who donīt know how to record a demo:
- get into the game -> connect to a server
- open your console with ^
- type record demoname (for example: record ffa)
- if you want to end your recording, just type stop
- to view your demos type viewdemo demoname
all your demos are safed in your dmc folder

sure, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7BMn1aoxBk but its just a vid for friends of mine...
it havnīt done much effects and pew pew around. this would be my first big project... but trust me ^^
iīll put much more editing in the fragmovie so it will be comparable to other good fragmovies! |

Yes it is the same HLTV for all the HL games. With this you can view first person of any player on the server. So you can view different battles going on at the same time in different parts of the map on the sever.
If you choose one player and watch entire demo from that persons perspective then change the player and see it from a whole new view with different battles each time.
Here are some HLTV high rate demo's from a FFA tourney a few years ago. Several weeks and divisions of skill levels Division 1 highest skill and Division 3 lowest skill level but all divisions are full of skilled players:

I am div 5 which means maybe 1Gb of them are good. Nah, just kidding. I think I got good ones saved in a specific folder. If i ever find them I will send you them.
I got some demos of things such as a 187 vs OG clan match. 3v3 if i recall. 3 diff maps I have tournament demos from the FFA league, I think there are HLTV demos of those available if the site is still up. I got demos from other tournies etc. I got it all man. |

Need to all show up to east coast and have the camera rolling with whoever wants to battle what ever way they want.That would be good footage!!!
