| Man, all huntil did was give his opinion and explained why he didn't like it. I don't think he meant it wrong/insulting in anyway. For what it's worth I agree with his opinion, but it's my choise to watch it and there are people who do like the video, so it is probably a good thing you made it. |

i enjoy only a few qw/dmc vid, cos i saw a lot of "miracle", BUT I played a lot, and this vid is good for the fresh bloods, who want to reach this level, and they can see a good player not just from outside. This vid could encourage them to play more and more(and forget their fucking life), so this is usefull. I see that u want to do something for this game, and that is good. Btw, there is no dmc player who can get my atention, my vid would sux as well, i enjoy just the actions i havent seen. BTW delete the beggining of it, it needs a better start. Huntil's critic was just honest and not so polite. Stop arguing here, create a vid, wich will catch my attention  . |

Ok.. i'll explain my annoyance.
For what its worth if you check back my post even I said I agreed with some opinions Huntil has, yet I found him to be very patronising.
He don't like the video, I said I am sorry... But then he follow a reply with suggestions of music change, quality etc when I have already explained it? It is completely irrelevant. He expect me to say
"Thanks Huntil, I hadn't realized the quality was poor and music didn't fit"
He says things in a way that leaves you feeling no hope. "btw I have see a lot of ffa game so you need a bit more to catch my attention". Oh, by the way eh? By the way he need to get over himself. So patronising.
I agreed that my gameplay actions are repetitive. I WANT to make a videos of full games with full songs and said I was sorry that he found parts boring. If I was going to make a frag movie with music that goes to action I would have made a frag movie. That is not what this is.
The opening post of this thread stated it was full match and the start of the video explains the exact song genre and WARNING full FFA.. the point of the WARNING is so that you can EXPECT repetition. He knows this, he is warned this before he click play, but then suggests me to cut boring parts out in future and make music in line with gameplay..
He suggesting something that I did not try or want to make and so his suggestions mean what? Nothing, because if I wanted to make a highlight video I would have. He might as well have suggested to use HL2DM footage in my next DMC FFA video!
I could understand if the video was a contrast to what I claimed it to be, or explained it to be.. it was not, so yea the critisism didn't leave much impression on me other than ridiculous.

DMC IS REPETITIVE..
You either like or are interested in FFA gameplay, or you aren't.. just like Fireball said. It is as simple as that. I don't like watching football games, only the highlights. So I just watch the highlights. If you don't want to watch a full FFA match, and instead want to watch frag highlights, then don't bother watching a video labelled as a full match!
So yes, I agreed with some things he said, however I did find him patronising, I did find him rude and close minded.
What Milosi said was on the other hand, in contrast, very helpful.. I wouldn't delete the start because yes I die in the beginning but, the point is, to show people a full game. A lot of new players leave if they start dying, think it is impossible to get back into the game if you have a bad start etc, or think some players cannot die. And Milosi, I will make more.. maybe dmz2 was not the best map =) |

iam not sure whether i watched the whole thing but i think i kinda liked it ^^ just because it was what it is a full match...
when i watch movies usually i watch trick movies... because fragmovies are boring to me... ALWAYS!
but full matches are another thing...
try to stop argueing oO there's no sense to argue at all... as tay said before its full match nothing less nothing more so there's no point in saying "you could have done that and that better" oO maybe hey nothing spectacular but hey who in dmc does spectacular frags which arent a bit repititiv?^^
so lets do a mass-fuck and be happy ^^ |

lol yap sq. Arguing takes it out of me man... I think if you look at my first reply to Huntil, the 3rd post, I was not in mood to try any arguments.. I wasn't trying to provoke anything or being annoyed like what ended up happening, it is because I didn't want argument. He had already said he didn't find it interesting so I don't know why he must make suggestions in his posts afterwards.

People like different things, you cant please everyone, so respect and politeness would really be appreciated, otherwise whats the point of it, it demotivates me, and I already said in my first post regardless of feedback there will be more, so I never wanted suggestions in the first place. If no comments had been left on this thread at all it wouldn't have made a difference, I didn't ask for opinions, I knew some people wouldn't like it but they don't have to follow my video progress do they? But it is really nice what people have said that were friendly and encouraging.
After I uploaded it I watched it myself, (cos i'd only seen it the 1 time before then, first time I played demo I fraps it, and it was played a month ago) I didn't finish the whole video either but I closed my eyes and listened to the songs.

At this point you still hadn't specify you don't want opinions, but only you don't care (yeah, visibly you don't...).
Then I explain what I expected from a frag video and I find wrong with full average ffa game (not especially your). Yeah this is very patronizing.
You said you don't care, and never said why you made this video. I just give my opininon, there is no problem to ignore it. But why try to defend yourself ? That's even not an attack. And why apology for your gameplay ?

I have play a lot of ffa games in dmq/qw/wsw, see a lot of excellent frag videos. What I meant is that Im hard to sastify, so don't be upset if I don't like it.

I defend myself because you force me to with your pointless opinion.. it angered me you bring up your opinions about music and quality, fuck it, I can't be bothered anymore.
Fuck the haters, I don't need reasons for doing something, Maybe I want full game for authenticy.. no doubt you will keep trying to discourage what I do. I apologise cos I was guilty of what you said.
<3 means love. (heart shape).. as in 'love you Huntil'.... because I thought you were joking.. This was just a bit of fun but it just gets taken so seriously...
The fact you didn't find it interesting... I didn't really want to know, I didn't expect it to be interesting for experienced players, but I know other people COULD find it interesting, might not, but COULD.
