Hi peeps
Was reading some of the stuff here, and realised that for all these years (QW and DMC) I've never tried any other configs other than the stock standard.
I gave cl_fov 120 a shot today and found myself looking a bit better and seeming to move faster (although No-Limit and Shrike still beat me senseless, thanks for a great game btw ).
Are there any other config tweaks or guides worth trying out? Tried JFGI but most stuff out of date.
Thanks

If you dont have mouse accel off i would suggest doing so. For some reason this passed me by for about 5 yrs playing and when I was told about it and i did it suddenly my shaft aim was usable . . . . but still pretty poor
I'm no expert on configs etc but to turn off -
Right click on the Deathmatch icon in Steam
Goto properties
Select Set Launch options...
Type in the box
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd
Thats all I know some folk may elaborate a little more. |

Mouse accel.... You attach a value
Wangmauler (I found out from him) -
-noforcemparms 0
-noforcemaccel 0
-noforcemspd 0
Me
-noforcemparms 1
-noforcemaccel 1
-noforcemspd 1
I think that each person has a level of comfort with one or another, when I experimented I knew what was most comfortable.. if you did not know about this, then finding a more comfortable setting can increase potential. |

I don't think I have played South in DMC in 2-3 years or so... so that cfg won't be of much help... |
