1. i ran a q4 server for awhile, the game gets a lot less action than you might think. most ppl have really bad framerates in DM.
2. the post - game development front is nearly at a standstill, with Doom3 even having more in the way of development, even though they share pretty much the same game engine.
3. If they plan on a steam release, I'll be stuck right in the pooper if i'm paying for the Special DVD edition of Q4, and then turn right around and have to pay for it again. NO ****ing way, not happening, end of story. I'll play Q4 DM the way ID set it up, but unless they allow me to use my registration in Steam, i'm not going to be interested.

I'd definitely be interested in playing some Q4!!!!
I'd also be willing to invest more time/resources/practice if I find like-minded players willing to invest the effort, I'd also be interested in a clan.
I've been trying to find an FPS game to "get into" for ages! There's a FragSmack.com Q4 server up (just last few weekends), can you connect to it okay? |

| never mind i found it but when i try to connect it says "Data not in sync with server data" don't know what whats about but yeah found i and added to favorites!!! |

Hmm, sounds like the same issue FireBall had. It is supposed to be set up to auto download (like DMC maps through http download), I will peek at it hopefully b4 the weekend. Installing this should fix it and if you fire up a server you'll probably want to run it: http://www.q4max.com/ |

| Yeah before this weekend would be great because i wont be around a computer. Going camping with the father for the weekend in the middle of no-where!!!! No computer for me!!! Damn camping ... damnit!!! |

I own all the quakes ... i wanna get all the doom 's next .... haha sweeeeeet Quake/Doom Day for DMC-Central lol ..... i love online gaming!!!
Oh and as for Tayste , Yes, Quake 4 does run on the Doom 3 engine. you will notice it as soon as you start playing it lol |

Hmmm...Well Im back 2 seconds to say just 1 thing (or 2...)
Worldcraft, the creation of a q4 or doom day in a website called DMC-central...sounds a bit weird.
btw I have q4...well guys, if you love bunny hope as I love it, you wont find as much fun in q4 as in dmc .
Well thats just MY opinion. I just think that dmc and q4 are really differents (especially in movement).
