Post subject: DMC - Server disconnects player

I started playing dmc a few weeks ago and was just about getting the hang of it but since the start of the year every time I join a game on any of your dmc servers, I get kicked off about 10 seconds later. I guess this means I've been banned although I've idea why if thats right. Could you let me know whats happening.

Hi Rich,
We see this problem a lot on the public servers.
Most of the time (not all) it is caused by players trying to join a different version of dmc server (dmc/dmq/dmc pro) using the in-game server browser from the server they are currently playing on.
After connecting to the new server a player may get kicked after about 10 seconds or when they first try to fire a weapon.
To fix this problem exit dmc and return to your desktop before rejoining the new game server. |
