Hey! I'm sure if you've played on Rocketman's server, you've seen me before! Anyways, just found out about this site, and it rocks! I noticed a lot of people I play with come here! =D

But aside from formalities and the friendly "Hello", I have a quick question about the DMC Server protocol. I've downloaded the Half-Life SDK 2.2 to get info about the Server Protocol, and either Python sucks, or I have an outdated version of the protocol I'm working with. Basically, I'm trying to get server information for Rocketman's server (i.e. - Players, scores, and the like), and I was wondering if any of you could help me with that. I noticed on this site that it has info about the servers, and was wondering how you did what you did.

The info in the 2.2 and 2.3 sdk is now out of date. Valve changed the hl1 servers to use the steam query protocol some time last year if I remember correctly.
The protocal is called A2S, more info on it can be seen at http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Server_Queries.

A lot of the info on the site is generated from data collect by qstat, which can be downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/qstat/
