We have added a member?s map feature to the website using the Google Maps API. It seemed like a fun idea and could be quite cool if a few people add their locations.
The functions of the new feature are:
Registered members can add their coordinates and a marker will be displayed on the map.
Special markers can be added with specific icons.
Show online visitors using the HostIP.info geo database.
Check it out here and add yourself to the map |

The be honest I didn't know either. Just found that add on script made by some clever guy made
Should also mention that there are 3 buttons in the top right if the map for switching between different display modes (photo, mixed and road map). The text on the buttons isn't corrently diplayed at the moment but I am working on fixing that. |

That's pretty nifty simon
My base of buckfast operations has been duly added...
I think that map must be about a year out of date because there are about 4 shops occupying a space at the end of my road which are missing |

The easiest way to add your position is to zoom into where you live on the map,
then click in the map where you want the pointer to be,
then click on the 'Add New Marker' botton which is to the right of the map |

| Heh, that's pretty cool...first attempt ended up in the sea off the east coast of Africa, but I think I've got it now that I've sorted out the difference between latitude and longitude |
