Its nice to see a new face.
Im sorry to say that this community is quite small and there isnt so many clans here. I can give you some advise go to #hldmc @ quakenet, play much dmc and start getting freinds.
But i can say that this community is very nice and freindly (if your are the same)

As far as I know, clans are automatically registered. All you have to do is start using a clan tag in your name in the game - i.e. change your name from dreamstalker to [myclan]dreamstalker, and then [myclan] will start appearing on the stats page.
Hope this helps - and hope I'm not completely wrong about this... |

I would say that you dosent need a clan. I have played for 4moths and first now I have joined a clan. The clan thing isnt that big like in CS. The hole dmc-community is like one big group of friends.
Take my adivse, go to #hldmc on quakenet. Play dmc and be polite and you will see how great this community is.
If you whant we can play som RA. ^^

If we can get some 2v2 and 3v3 or even larger team competitions going maybe we'd start seeing some clans.
There's a few players about that seem to be in clans but I guess they're mostly based around other games.. are they? |

I have started a clan i am kinda just getting it going tho, even tho i started using my tag over 6 months ago. Sure a friendly kind of clan but still, joining is on invite. I have put up a little page and it would be fun to play 2v2s and 4v4s etc, but anyway my advise to you dream, is to just play and be friendly. You will meet people you see quite often and then you can decide if you want to start or join a clan with the friends you meet. If you want to try to get in a clan right away, i know that there are a couple of american (mostly rocket arena) clan which are easy to join, for example StD and rE. I see so many players joining and quiting from those 2 all the time lol.
As for mine i havent currently started sharing the tag but i want to invite good friends who i enjoy playing DMC with, perhaps when i start to play more regularly in easter. But as i am playing DMC this weekend, might have first player to join. Quite exclusive however as the players attitude has to be compatiable with mine (friendly, play for fun, don't get frustrated etc).. some people are too competitive for my liking. Because my goal is a totally friendly clan.

- i put that pfc poster together in about an hour, i went for a dark, brooding look, and attempted blood against wall as best i could.. however is it too dark? It seems to vary screen to screen.. |

as for OG clan, we are not quick to let someone in. I dont want someone joining if I dont know them, because then I cant be sure if at some later time they will give the clan a bad name.
I also dont want OG to be too populated. I want it to remain a small tight clan. As of now we have 7 OG members. Some are on more than others. Funkydo just returned last week after a many months hiatus!
I had too many requests from people to tryout for OG. So for you, and anyone else interested in joining a clan, sorry OG is not holding any tryouts for awhile, until we feel we need some new blood.
oh and Tayste, about your picture. maybe it does vary from screen to screen. for me, the Pure F Chaos was a little hard to read ,but it might be the lighting in here. Or maybe thats how you intended it to be. |

Yeh i did go for a dark look but perhaps the wording is a lil too bleak against the background. Might go back to it sometime.
As for PFC, its open for new members, on invite. |

Nice a newblood. Welcome!
I will say almost the same thing as i did 2005 in this tread.
I can give you some advise play much dmc and start getting friends. Start dueling or play some rumble/arena.
Dmc is a quite small community so you really dosent need to have a clan to get the "respect" from people. I didnt have a clan in the 5 first moth i did play this game. Didnt need to. Everyone did know my name on the arenaservers back then. ^_^
Nowdays i see my clan as a group of friends, im a member of pFc and as i know you dont apply you get chosen. Its not only about skills its about friendship.
btw Tayste is the clanleader but i think he will say the same. |
