Many thanks to all our friends who generously donated their hard earned money in the past few weeks to help keep the UK master server alive. Without your help we truly could not have kept the server online.

Valve are going to run a short beta on Steam to test the new version of Friends. To run the beta you'll need to run Steam from a command line, adding the following parameters:
steam.exe -clientbeta steam3friends -beta steam3friends
If you find any bugs, please add comments to this page with a description of the problem.
A helpful bug format is:
short title
Expected: expected behavior
Observed: observed behavior
Steps to reproduce: steps to reproduce the problem
a description of your network topology.

We are proud to announce a resolution to problems that plagued our player stats for a few months. The problem was found to be caused by a known bug in the core HLStats code that prevents unfair point accumulation for gained objectives in team based games. As we do not run any team games it was a simple matter just to bypass that part of the code.
